Communication and Design Students in the Kitchen

Venue: Alanya Culinary Heritage

On the first day of the festival, students visited Alanya Culinary Heritage to experience the preparation of traditional Alanya cookies. The activity highlighted the importance of preserving local culinary traditions while encouraging hands-on cultural learning.

DAY 02 | APRIL 23, 2024 · TUESDAY

Breaking Walls with Imagination: Design Project

Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Venue: Nimet Alaattinoğlu Primary and Middle School

The second day featured the unveiling of creative wall designs prepared by our students for Nimet Alaattinoğlu Primary and Middle School. The event coincided with April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day, celebrating creativity and shared artistic experiences with younger students.

DAY 03 | APRIL 24, 2024 · WEDNESDAY

Festival Day on Campus!

Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Venue: Alanya University Garden

On the third day, the university campus became a meeting point for artistic expression and intercultural communication. An international dance performance brought together rhythms and stories from different cultures, followed by the opening of an exhibition featuring creative works by our students.

DAY 04 | APRIL 25, 2024 · THURSDAY

Journey Through Culture and History

Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Venue: Side Ancient City and Aspendos

The fourth day was dedicated to a cultural and historical discovery tour. Participants visited Side Ancient City and the ancient site and theatre of Aspendos, exploring archaeological heritage and gaining insights into the region's history and cultural identity.

DAY 05 | APRIL 26, 2024 · FRIDAY

Sustainability: Creative Workshops at the Red Tower

Time: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Venue: Red Tower (Kızılkule), Alanya

The festival concluded with a celebration of art and sustainability at the historic Red Tower. Creative workshops in foil bending, sculpture, and bag painting encouraged participants to explore environmental awareness through artistic practice.

Following the workshops, participants examined the architectural details of the Red Tower alongside the university's “Palimpsest Cities” initiative, completing the festival with an exploration of Alanya's rich cultural heritage.
