The Department of Communication and Design offers education in the field where communication and visual arts intersect. It provides students with education on topics such as communication theories, graphic design, photography, animation, film production, web design, enabling them to develop their theoretical knowledge and skills. Additionally, our students gain real-world experience through practical work. The department primarily focuses on graphic design and visual communication design, aiming to equip students with the fundamentals of design as well as various skills such as creative thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, communication skills, critical thinking, and effective use of technology. Supporting students in achieving successful careers and making a difference in the industry through a versatile and comprehensive educational program is among the main missions of the department.
Considering the increasing importance of communication and design disciplines with digitalization, our graduates have a wide range of job opportunities. Advertising agencies, media organizations, corporate communication fields, and various sectors related to the department offer employment opportunities for our graduates.
All courses at the Department of Communication and Design at Alanya University are conducted entirely in English. This allows our students to be active internationally and benefit from international collaborations.
